Please read these terms carefully. By creating an account or using Linqent, you agree to be bound by them.

1 Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing or using Linqent ("the Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2 Company information

Linqent is the legal entity responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of the Linqent platform. All legal obligations, data processing responsibilities and service commitments described in these Terms are undertaken by Linqent. Any reference to "Linqent", "we", "us" or "our" in these Terms means the company providing the Service.

3 Definitions

"Service" means the Linqent platform, website and related features, including content generation, publishing and engagement tools.
"You" and "your" mean the person or entity using the Service.
"LinkedIn" means LinkedIn Corporation and its services, which are separate and independent from Linqent.
"Content" means any post, comment, reaction, image or other material generated or published through the Service.

4 The Service

Linqent generates social media content based on settings you provide. When you connect and explicitly link a LinkedIn account to a workflow, the Service may publish posts, comments and reactions for that account.

The Service manages only the account you connect and the content you publish. It never accesses or manages the profile, posts or data of any other LinkedIn member, and all publishing is limited to your own account.

By connecting your LinkedIn account, you authorize Linqent to act on your behalf through the official LinkedIn API, strictly for the operations you enable in your workflows.

5 Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

6 Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you generate and publish through the Service.
You must ensure that your content complies with applicable laws and with the terms and policies of the platforms you publish to, including LinkedIn's Terms of Service and automation policies.
You must only connect LinkedIn accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
You must not use the Service to publish content you do not have the right to share.
You must keep your account credentials and any connected access secure.

7 Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

Send spam, unsolicited or deceptive messages.
Harass, threaten or defame others.
Publish illegal, misleading or harmful content.
Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
Violate the terms or policies of LinkedIn or any third-party platform.
Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable or impair the Service.

Prohibited content & automated safeguards: The Service does not generate, publish, comment on or engage with content related to politics, religion, sexual or adult content, hate, harassment, discrimination, violence, or any illegal, deceptive or platform-violating content. Automated filters and AI safeguards are in place to detect and block such topics, and any workflow configured to target them will be skipped. You must not attempt to bypass these safeguards.

8 LinkedIn API usage and data boundaries

Our Service integrates with LinkedIn through official, authorized API endpoints. By using Linqent, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Official API only: all interactions with LinkedIn are conducted through LinkedIn's official API. We comply fully with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use and Developer Program policies, and we do not use unofficial, reverse-engineered or unauthorized methods to access LinkedIn.
No access to private data: we do not access, read, store or process your private LinkedIn messages, InMail conversations, connection requests or other private communications.
No credential storage: we do not store your LinkedIn login credentials. Authentication is handled securely through LinkedIn's OAuth flow.
Limited scope: our API access is strictly limited to your own connected account, your public profile data and the publishing capabilities you explicitly authorize.
No unauthorized scraping: we do not engage in web scraping or any unauthorized data extraction from LinkedIn.
Independent tool: Linqent is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn.

You may disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time, which revokes our access to it.

9 Fees and payments

The Service offers free and paid plans, as described on the Pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance on the terms displayed at the time of purchase. You may request to cancel or change your plan at any time through the dashboard. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

10 Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by Linqent and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer the Service, except as permitted by applicable law.

Content you generate through the Service belongs to you, subject to the rights you grant us to operate the Service and the licenses granted to the platforms where you publish.

11 Account and data

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time using our Data Deletion page, or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

12 Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results, including content performance on third-party platforms, will meet your expectations.

13 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linqent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including content published to third-party platforms. Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

This limitation also applies to changes to LinkedIn's API, policies or platform that may affect the availability or functionality of the Service.

14 Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law. Upon termination, we will remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Linqent is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
