Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
linqent ("we", "our", "us") provides a social media content generation and publishing service. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
- Content configuration: the keywords, language, dialect and other settings you enter for your workflows.
- Generated content: the posts we generate on your behalf.
- LinkedIn connection data: when you connect a LinkedIn account, we receive and store your LinkedIn identifier, name, profile picture, profile URL and an access token that lets us publish posts, comments and reactions to that profile on your behalf.
- LinkedIn post analytics: for posts published through the service, we receive and display analytics such as impressions, reactions, comments, reshares, saves, link clicks, followers gained and profile views, obtained through the official LinkedIn API.
- Support and usage data: your support chat messages and basic service usage logs.
3. How we use your information
- To operate and secure your account.
- To generate content based on your workflow settings.
- To publish posts, comments and reactions to the LinkedIn account you explicitly connected, when you enable automatic publishing.
- To display post analytics back to you so you can understand how your content performs.
- To improve the service and diagnose errors.
4. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not publish to any account you did not explicitly connect and link to a workflow.
- We do not access or store the data of other LinkedIn members.
- We do not read your private messages.
- We do not scrape LinkedIn or collect data beyond what the official LinkedIn API provides for your own connected account.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated posts remain in your history until you delete them or your account. LinkedIn connection tokens remain stored until you disconnect your account.
6. LinkedIn APIs
When you use the LinkedIn integration, the service uses the official LinkedIn APIs (including the Community Management API) to publish posts, comments and reactions to the account you selected, and to retrieve analytics for posts you published through the service. Data obtained through LinkedIn APIs is limited to your own connected account and is never shared, sold or used for any other purpose.
You can revoke the connection and our access to your LinkedIn account at any time from the dashboard or directly in your LinkedIn settings.
7. Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using our Data Deletion page, or by disconnecting your LinkedIn connection, which revokes our access to your LinkedIn account.
